In the 9.24 build the release notes had the following entries.
- Added grade coloring to the elevation chart.
- Added grade coloring for segments.
These two items should really be read as a single item and not as two items.
What Screens will show grade coloring?
The segment and ClimbPro page will show grade coloring . The segment page needs to be configured to show the elevation profile for the segment.
What information is shown on the elevation plot when on other pages through the use of color?
The Edge has a dedicated elevation page. You can also add the elevation plot to the map page.
If you are following a course with ClimbPro Off the profile will always be green and conveys no additional information.
If ClimbPro is enabled and you are following a course then the profile will be colored to show any categorized climbs.
