Strava routes fail to down load - error code 0

Same here

Bottom line up front: you need to manually disconnect your Edge 1030 from your phone, and reconnect it. I am not sure what this error means specifically (I'm not a super techie person, and frankly I have figured out how to over come it).

Step 1: Close the Garmin Connect app

Step 2: Turn off, then turn back on Bluetooth (give it 10-15 seconds in the off position)

Step 3: Reopen the Garmin Connect app

Step 4: Go to ConnectIQ and Strava Routes on the Edge computer, and open the app. If you need to connect to Strava, follow the prompts.

If that does not work, reset your phone, turn your Garmin off, then back on. Eventually it should get a proper connection and will work.  This occasionally happens to me still. I think it relates to some sort of corruption in the BT connection.

If those steps do not help, the last option is to unpair the deg from your phone and re-pair. When you do this delete the connections on both the computer and the phone.

it s Garmin, shutdown, reset, turn off, restart, .... is a daily job :-)

You could have bought a Wahoo. And, it's not been my experience to even be weekly, YMMV, I guess.

Euh...I don t even think about it, Garmin have some problem but they are the best in this activity

Thanks everyone, though reading replies i am not sure i have a lot confidence with my new device going forward! garmin on and off worked so fingers crossed going forward.

I updated to version 5.0 of Strava routes, resynced and it worked
