Battery showing 100% all the time

This problem is already over one year old and still not solved, in spite of plenty of firmware updates.

Workaround is very simple. Issue arise when the device goes into sleep by itself once charged. Then if you wake it up and use it immediately battery is stuck at 100%. To avoid this when you unplug the device after charging wake it up, then do a complete shupdown. 

After that at power-up the battery indicator will work normally.

Ok, this is usefull for debugging purposes. It explains how to reproduce the problem.

In case you forget to reboot in order to avoid the issue you can also reboot once the problem occurs.

This will correct the issue.

Is anyone still experiencing this problem after updating to 8.00?

Yes, this still happens with 8.00 :(

MaxRower - Two questions, have you powered off the Edge recently after the update and the Edge always showing 100% (Press and Hold the Power button and Select 'Power Off')? And how are you charging the Edge AC wall adapter or a computer?

Really ?.  My 1030 had the same 98% max charge issue for a month and only after the 8 update did it show 100%.
