Garmin products not connecting via Bluetooth with latest Garmin Connect update

Question

After The recent update of Garmin Connect today. My edge 1030plus, Rally power meter and HRM is not working. What is Garmin doing!!!! Seems like it&rsquo;s a Bluetooth issue with this update.

Please follow these steps in this article which should correct the issue. Please make sure that you have removed the device from your phones Bluetooth setting and you are trying to pair the watch in the Connect app.

I'm a brand new user of my Edge 130 plus. Had the same problems as everyone else. Here's what finally worked. I hope it works for you. 
 Downloaded Garmin Express and plugged my Edge into the usb port of my pc. The pc recognized the Edge and i registered it. 
 Downloaded and installed latest Edge SW version (3.00) via usb 
 Updated my iphone SE2020 to latest version of iOS 26 
 Downloaded/installed latest version of Garmin Connect on my iphone 
 Cycled power on iphone 
 Set iphone to airplane mode 
 Powered on Edge and navigated to Pair Phone. Edge went into connect mode 
 Navigated to Add Device on iphone/Connect 
 Connect -> the device has been registered but not paired 
 Connect -> Used Add Device menus to search for Edge 130 Plus 
 Connect -> "Not found" 
 Connect -> Search again (wider search) *yes* 
 Connect -> found the device and then pairing proceeded per the manual 
 I have not tried any activities/synching because I'd spent enough time messing with it.

 I did this after HOURS of following Garmin's official articles, and perhaps a dozen or more help tutorials on the Internet. The unique steps to success for me appeared to be using Garmin Express to update the device, upgrading iOs (from 18 to 26 for me), starting up the Edge while the iphone was in airplane mode. All the other steps I had tried to no avail. 
 Again, I hope this works for you.

Can't say what was different than the other dozen attempts but this did finally pair- but not until after going through four "try again" screens: 
 Do this next (quick) 
 Step 1 &mdash; Disconnect Edge from computer 
 Let it boot fully back to normal home screen. 
 Wait ~30 seconds. 
 
 Step 2 &mdash; On the Edge 
 Go to: 
 ☰ &rarr; Connected Features &rarr; Phone 
 Tap Forget Phone (even if blank) 
 Then: 
 Tap Pair Phone 
 Leave it on the pairing screen. 
 
 Step 3 &mdash; On iPhone (important order)

Force-quit Garmin Connect

Turn iPhone Bluetooth OFF

Wait 15 seconds

Turn Bluetooth ON

Immediately open Garmin Connect &rarr; Add Device

Watch closely for the popup. Go through all the "try again" screens. Probably took four minutes.
