Having the same problem, I have an Edge 1030 plus but am unable to connect to it using bluetooth. Have you found a solution for this problem already?
Garmin issues an update to the Garmin Connect app yesterday. Or at least that is when I updated the GC app on my phone. Perhaps that will solve your issue.
Nope. I gave up. Using Hammerhead now. So much better!
Please follow these steps in this article which should correct the issue. Please make sure that you have removed the device from your phones Bluetooth setting and you are trying to pair the watch in the Connect app.
It doesn’t help. Even when you click forget phone on the device it doesn’t forget. Keeps showing you phone searching.

I'm a brand new user of my Edge 130 plus. Had the same problems as everyone else. Here's what finally worked. I hope it works for you.
Downloaded Garmin Express and plugged my Edge into the usb port of my pc. The pc recognized the Edge and i registered it.
Downloaded and installed latest Edge SW version (3.00) via usb
Updated my iphone SE2020 to latest version of iOS 26
Downloaded/installed latest version of Garmin Connect on my iphone
Cycled power on iphone
Set iphone to airplane mode
Powered on Edge and navigated to Pair Phone. Edge went into connect mode
Navigated to Add Device on iphone/Connect
Connect -> the device has been registered but not paired
Connect -> Used Add Device menus to search for Edge 130 Plus
Connect -> "Not found"
Connect -> Search again (wider search) *yes*
Connect -> found the device and then pairing proceeded per the manual
I have not tried any activities/synching because I'd spent enough time messing with it.

I did this after HOURS of following Garmin's official articles, and perhaps a dozen or more help tutorials on the Internet. The unique steps to success for me appeared to be using Garmin Express to update the device, upgrading iOs (from 18 to 26 for me), starting up the Edge while the iphone was in airplane mode. All the other steps I had tried to no avail.
Again, I hope this works for you.
this worked for me
used garmin express on my pc and updated edge sw via usb cable
updated iOS to 26
cycled power on iphone and set to airplane mode
powered on edge and selected "pair phone"
turned off airplane mode on iphone
selected my Edge (now registered via Express) on iphone/Connect
tried to add device (search failed)
selected "try again using wider search"
edge was found by Connect. completed pairing per usual manual
Unfortunately I still Can’t get it to work. The Bluetooth just doesn’t want to connect to the phone. The WiFi and Bluetooth icons on the top of the screen is greyed out. Thanks for helping. Have given up.

I can eventually get it to pair with code after "try again with wider search" and then it goes back to searching for accessory that it will never find. On iPhone 17Pro.
