Hello I have a 1030 Plus, and I have a strange issue. The touch screen works fine all the time, in any menus the touch screen works perfectly and is fully responsive everywhere (top, center, bottom) without any issue. EXCEPT in the following situation : when I start an activity I can scroll the different displays to the right or the left, I can swipe from the top downwards to show the settings menu and click everywhere in the screen BUT when I tap on the screen and the transparency appears with the bottom bar 3 icons (left, home and right) the lower part ot the screen becomes unresponsive. I cannot click on the HOME icon to go back to the main menu to do other things, nor on either of the left or right arrows. I need to stop the activity and then I recover the full responsiveness of the touch screen. It is as if the transparency that appears with the 3 bottom icons was bricked ?
I have tried to change the sensitivity settings but still the same problem, and as said, the touch screen works fine in all situations except the one described above. I have done a hard reset of the device, updated to the latest firmware via Garmin Express, but still no luck. A friend of mine has exactly the same model, and in his device it is possible to click on the Home icon when recording an activity.
A quick video to show the behaviour. Some advice please ?
