I have a Garmin 1030 plus which was linked to my iPhone 12. In the last few weeks when I opened the Garmin app to sync it to my Garmin edge it said ‘Accessory Not Supported, this accessory is not supported by this device’
I am on release 6.75 with no software updates showing. My iPhone is also on the latest release, 18.3.1
As I was unable to sync at all today, I removed the Garmin edge from Garmin Connect and removed the edge from my Bluetooth devices, I then went back to Garmin connect, clicked on add device, selected edge 1030 plus and connect it. From my Garmin edge I went into connected features, phone, pair smartphone and click continue.
The Garmin connect showed the edge 1030 plus, I clicked on that, both devices came up to pair and gave matching PIN numbers, but then said it couldn’t connect to your Edge 1030 plus, yet it is showing under My devices as connected Bluetooth. I keep removing it from my Bluetooth devices and trying again to pair but the same thing keeps happening.
I also have a Garmin vivoactive 5 watch that is connected and syncs without any issues to my iPhone.
Please can anyone advise how I can resolve this issue.
