So I've had this happen often enough on my road bike that it's annoying beyond belief, but never got it at a proper time where I could either safely video it, or had the time to.
I have set the map up so that it faces the driving direction, but from time to time it'll lock up, the icon won't turn anymore and the map will also lock it's orientation. In this case I was cycling backwards according to the edge?
It can often be fixed by calibrating the compass, but it may take up to 3 tries for it to work.
I've reset the unit completely in the past for it to happen right afterwards again.
Is to completely dissable the compass? Any other tips or tricks? Does it also happen with the newer units?
