When doing an indoor ride of 1:07 hrs, the E1030+ all of a sudden stopped recording the heart rate and when I tried to stop the exercise it didn't respond and started to reboot.
This happened after approximately 59 minutes which was during the recovery and cool down which is visible in the heart rate graph.
After rebooting the exercise continued where it stopped, it only showed the required training zone in a bit of a weird way. The file uploaded in Garmin Connect and Training Peaks did not look really damaged but the the Training Effect and Training Load and therefor also the time to recover are totally wrong. It only took the part after the reboot into account. This is very disappointing as this was a Tempo training which can be seen in the graph of the time spent in the training zones.
It is not the first time I had a spontaneous reboot but this one is by far the most destructive w.r.t. the training stats.
How can this be fixed, how can the right Training Effect, Exercise Load and recovery time be 'recovered'. The exercise load is almost a factor of 10 too low. In a previous exercise the training load was over 250 with one Z4 interval less than this one.
Anyone any idea how this reboot could take place. Could it be triggered by a change of SW, FW also of e.g. Garmin Express This event is very disruptive for the training status etc which is totally wrong both in the web app as well the app on the mobile. This is because it is already totally wrongly reported on the E1030+ itself.
Garmin get your act together, this is unacceptable, has nothing to do with accuracy
