My Edge 1030 plus cycles constantly with "updating GPS firmware" it will eventually get through the full 100%, say gps firmware updated successfully and then immediately go back to Updating GPS firmware. Edge software version 6.81, however GPS shows 0.0 which explains why I have a constant "searching for Satellites" message on the map screen. I tried deleting the contents of the SW folder and re-syncing via Garmin Express but still have the same issue. Please let me know if my Edge is now a brick. Really disappointed as I just purchased this a few months ago.
