I can't connect my Garmin device witb Android phobe Samsung A33.

It has been workinh for a long time but somehow yhe connection got disrupted.

I removed the APP and installed again. Apparently my cell doesn't see the Garmin, although Edge is connected to the internet. I completely run out oc answers % solutions after research internet for 4 hours....

Hope soneone overhere is able to help me.

  • First try- Turning off your smartphone and your device, and turn them back on again. Enable Bluetooth technology on your smartphone. Update the Garmin Connect app to the latest version. Remove your device from the Garmin Connect app and the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone to retry the pairing process.

If that does not work try- Resetting the network settings on the phone, this also resets Bluetooth. You can do this via Settings > General management > Reset network settings > Restart the phone > Connect the Garmin 530 Plus to the phone again.

The later worked for me. I had to add my wi-fi internet passwords back into the phone, so make sure you have your passwords handy beforehand. It is a bit of a pain but it worked.

  • I know it's been answered already, but may next time, try unpairing the device from you Bluetooth menu on you phone. You may also need to remove the paring on you Garmin device. IOW, each device remembers the other so you may need to make each one forget the other.

Then re-pair it with your phone.
