Touch screen not responding after using in rains

Dear All,
I am using a Garmin 1030 plus. Yesterday I rode in heavy rains.
I am using silicon cover and screen guard film.
However the touch screen has become unresponsive.
Garmin is switching on and off normally and data was also uploaded successfully.
Can you please advice me to solve this problem.

    I have the issue that the touch screen on my Garmin edge 1030 do not respond most of the time. This started 2 days ago. After rebooting - sometimes the touschscreen works.  i have as well silicon case and screen gurard film for 3 years now.
    There are 200 activities stored.  Somebody any idea?
    I opened the Garmin edge and disconnectet the screen from the mainborad, and plugged it in again - but no change....

    There is a limit of 200 activities that can be stored on the device so copy them somewhere else if you want to keep them and then delete them from the Edge. Check the courses folder too as there is a limit of 100.

    I deleted all activities an all courses. No change ......
