I was about to finish my ride and write on here complaining about my barometer working extremely poorly for the past 3 or 4 rides and screwi g my elevation data up
, but instead my screen has gone white on saving my ride and nothing I do changes it. Hold start for 10- 30 seconds, delete (corrupted?) activities from folders via pc, etc. Try to follow instructions to factory reset via using buttons without seeing anything on screen... nothing works.
I turn off the screen (soft reset) and the screen flashes white and then turns off. Then I hold to restart and it flashes various shades of white before setting on a white screen. Nothing stops this other than soft-resetting again.
I've never had screen issues before and I can't even tell you how it happened. What I do know is that nothing I do makes a difference. This is very inconvenient particularly right now as I'm away cycing for the week and need it for navigation! 
So what are my options? Can I reset it somehow via the pc?
