I'm moving my best watts numbers with the same BPM, but the performance condition KPI is always negative. Any solution?

is your bodyweight constant or gained some ? negative could mean too high vo2max value in the Edge and "real one" is lower a bit.
Same weight.
And according to GC, my VO2 has decreased over last couple of months. It doesn't have any sense that my Vo2 is lower, but it always says that I'm in a poor condition
maybe it has too high vo2max value somehow (probably a bug or something, or you trained only indoor, and you could fool the old firstbeat algorhythm with low hr drift and as you went outside, your base hr is higher due to the non-static body and it can cause "poor" performance . it is common issue with the old Garmin devices, i had 830, my vo2max "went up" from 70 to 79 due to an indoor long block /3months/, and after i went out , my vo2max by 830 started to drop, even my outdoor power was a tiny bit higher than it was inside. With the new 840 i cant fool the algorhythm anymore :D
I have used it only indoor. I don´t have powermeter on my bike, only on my bike trainer.
Moreover, my device is a Garmin 1030 plus, so it´s quite new.
Anyway, thanks for your help!
as i know the 1030plus has much older Firstbeat algorhytm and same as the other x30 series. So not a "new gen". (but you can buy it as new, ofc, as the other x30 devices) the x40 series have much better imho (and these are already almost 2y old , started with 1040).
without seeing your complete training calendar and the details in the workouts, i cant tell more unfortunately.
FWIW, I've found this performance condition metric to be wrong more than right. It would be forgiveable if it was wrong by suggesting the condition was more or less negative than it should be but negative (or positive) was directionally correct. But I've found this not to be the case the majority of the time: If there's a negative value, I'm likely going to have a good workout or race. Its only when its positive and suggesting my condition is good that I get worried. Yeah, ludicrous, I know. But I've been watching this daily for months now and it is almost always wrong. I think some of it has to do with the metric apparently using speed as part of the algorithm and the vast majority of my rides start out with me battling a headwind for 20-25 minutes. Why it would use speed when that variable is so weather dependent and has nothing to do with performance condition is beyond me. Its gotten to be one of those things that is so wrong on the Garmin they really should just trash it entirely if they're not going to put effort into fixing it.
