Just bought a 1030 plus. The software is totally useless, impossible to edit a route

    If you have problems editing a route in Garmin Connect (personally, I never had any), you can use an external tool of your preference, and import it to Garmin Connect at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses

    Tens of thousands of people use it.

    You aren't providing any information people could help you with.

    On the website (in a browser).

    Click and drag the blue route line to where you want it to go through.

    Click on the route to "pin" it so that point doesn't move. A blue circle will show on that location. Remove the "pin" by clicking on the circle.

    The point of "pinning" the route is so that changes you are making are limited to being between pins.

    You could try another route planner but they all kind of work the same way.
