Maps cannot be unlocked

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with an Edge 1030+. It is new (purchased at the beginning of May 2023). It worked very well until yesterday. The GPS indicates that unlocking the maps is impossible. Garmin Express and Garmin Connect are up to date. GPX files are downloaded without problems.

Has anyone had this problem before?

The best thing to try would be to use Garmin Express and uninstall and then re-install the maps.

Had this today, laptop went to sleep during the update, when I got my Garmin reconnected, GE implied the update was done, but wasn’t. As suggested by aweatherall, I needed to uninstall and reinstall until it actually completed.
