1030 plus, which setting to be applied for AUTO START STOP

I recently bought 1030 plus. I'm having an issue to find the correct setting to start the device
automatically. AUTO STOP : whenever you stop. TIMER START MODUS: manually. Is there no AUTOMATIC setting to start and to stop the device ??

Timer Start mode options and Auto Pause settings are in your Activity Profile. However, you’ll still need to press the Start/Stop button to end and save an activity.

That's how my device has been set up currently: AUTO PAUSE whenever you stop in combination with TIMER START MODE. The disadvantage of this setting: you have to sart/stop th event manually.

Is there no other way, without manual start / stop?

Timer start can be set to manual, prompted or auto, so I guess you want to use auto. Stop is manual as there isn't any other way of knowing when the activity is to be ended rather than paused.

Do you mean so when you stop at a set of traffic lights, the activity will automatically pause and restart once you start moving again?

yes, that's what I mean.

I applied / used several settings and the point is: when stopping for an intermediate stop and taking off the device, it looks like the device interpret walikng as starting again ((speed is at 10 km/h set)
