Items Ready to Install continues to pop up after every sync

Every time I sync my Garmin Edge 1030 Plus, the prompt "You have items ready to install" comes up over and over again.

Is there a fix to this? And why is this happening over the last months?

Did you try to sync with Garmin Express. It seems to work better than using the GC app and map updates can only be done with GE.
