hidy, all. sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but i searched and didn't find it. anyway, my problem is that the speed readout is extremely slow, and appears to be averaging as it changes. i start accelerating down a hill and the speed doesn't change for 4, sometimes 6 seconds. then, when it changes, it seems to go up by 1 mph or so at a time until it gets to my speed. i'll finish a descent and immediately start another climb, and the speed will still be increasing after i started climbing. i have an old edge 800 that i took to confirm this. it is consistently 3-4 mph faster than the 1030+ on descents, and 3-4 mph slower on climbs. and it jumps right to my speed, instead of counting its way up. and the speed data changes fast, more than once a second. no, i do NOT have the data field set for 'average speed'; i've checked that more than once. this is so bad that right now i consider the unit inaccurate and almost unusable. any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. thanks
