I have used garmin products for years and am thinking about changing now to a competitor.
The last Garmin 1030 lasted just over a year and died, i was offered a out of warranty refurbished unit for ~£130,
i was led to believe this would come with 12 months warranty !!!.
This 1030 lasted 5 months and now has failed !!.
Contacted Garmin for warranty of this refurbished unit and they told me its only covered for 90 days !!
Well over £600 spent now and feel annoyed at Garmin stance.
I would of not purchased this refurbished unit if i knew it had a 90 day warranty , i am sure most people wont , feel very misled.
Disappointed with Garmin - guys check the warranty of refurbished units and in my opinion - dont buy....
