Enable to connect my new eMTB (Brose S-Mag) to my Garmin Edge 1030 Plus

Hi to all,

I try to pair my new e-MTB bike (Fantic XEF 1.8 with a Brose S-Mag motor) to my Garmin Edge 1030 Plus.

I go to Menu > Sensors > Add Sensor > eBike

Then I get the message : To connect the eBike, turn it on

The eBike is On, and the bluetooth is on as well (my iPhone can see it).

Then nothing happens (I was waiting more than 10 minutes).

I repeated several times.

Does anybody knows if this is normal and if pairing this bike with Edge 1030 Plus is suposed to work ?

P.S. : I have a friend with the Fantic XEF 1.9 with a Brose S-Mag motor and a Garmin Edge 1030 : same problem.

P.S.2 : I have read that someone did a succesfull pairing of a Spezialized Levo with Brose S-Mag to an Edge 1030, but I do not know how he did.
