Possible Resolution to the Gradient Issue?

Looking at the 1040 forum, it appears that a recent beta version of the software has addressed the long standing gradient lag issue. Possible that this fix might also be rolled out to the 1030+ models?

I have my fingers crossed that the fix will trickle down to the XX30 models

I suppose it was to much to hope for that unlike over in the 1040 forum, that last firmware update did not resolve the gradient lag issue. Looks like Garmin are only going to fix the later model?

I hope it is still in the pipeline, obviously Garmin have proved that it can be fixed by a software/firmware update.

@garmin are you looking into this?

Hi Keoltag, Is it possible to you to add a link to the thread you found this being tested ? I tried to find it in 1040 beta forum but I did not found it :-(
