New Public Beta Program 6.71 ?!!!

What's new in the beta version ?
What are the differences between alpha and beta versions ?
Does anyone know the details ?
Will it have anything to do with the software of the 1040 ?

i am surprised that there is all this effort to support x30 device betas as I had assumed that 540/840 devices would have been imminent but perhaps they are a long way away still. Some of the items in these alphas are the same as the current 1040 alpha as well. Have to say none of the items excite me but maybe I am the odd one out?
