Edge 1030 plus with RTL515 constant connect/disconnection during rides

I recently purchased a 1030 plus along with a RTL515. This past Sunday I went on my first long ride with the setup, and it seemed like the RTL515 disconnected and reconnected every 10 minutes. When this happened it also seemed to affect my speed, cadence, and HR sensors as well(they disconnected and reconnected.) This issue did not seem to happen until I added the radar sensor to the mix. It was very disappointing that during a 3 hour ride I had dozens of these events. Does anyone have a fix for this? It seems like I am seeing many people reporting this problem with no real solutions. I hope I didn't make a mistake investing in this whole setup.

My friend called me yesterday and was asking about same problem. Radar, chest strap doesn't connect automatically when starting an activity.

Mine connects just fine, it just repeatedly disconnects and re-connects during the ride.

Another ride, and another flurry of disconnect events. I rode for a couple hours and had probably 10 disconnects. Sadly this is affecting the tracking of all my sensor data...*sigh*

This has happened to me too, though rarely. I can go thousands of kms without an issue, and then I'll have an hour of endless dis/re-connects usually when I'm in a group and don't have the luxury of pulling over and doing some diagnostics.

este error me ha sucedido a mí y lo soluciono pausando la sección de ejercicio y apago y prendo el garmín, vuelvo a seguir la sección de ejerció y queda conectando correctamente.

As of last week I downgraded the firmware in my 1030 to V6.10. After which I went on a 3 hour 40 mile ride. I had 0 disconnects.

I will be doing another ride this weekend in a more crowded area that should be ~60 miles. I will report back after, but so far I'm optimistic that this may be the fix.

Last few rides I connected speedsensor/cadencesensor/FR955 and had zero disconnects. Today I connected all those sensors plus the RTL515 and had around 15 disconnects during a 70k ride. My 1030+ is on FW 6.50 and RTL515 is on FW 3.32

Seems 1030+ and RTL515 is still not a happy combination. Very frustrating!

Still same problems has my friend. FW 6.50. Polar H10 and RTL515 disconnecting during ride.
