I've got an Edge 1030 Plus with software version 6.40.
Since about two months during rides all sensors are disconnected and reconnected during rides. I don't have an exact date as to when it happened as it started doing this during rides where I mainly used the map function and didn't notice power drops. All of a sudden I did notice pop-ups that sensors were reconnected during rides just after I added two Bontrager flare lights. They had trouble to stay connected and in the end I decided to just disconnect them and manage them manually. Although I am not sure this was the first time it happened, the issue with the other sensors to be dropped and reconnected remained.
The frequency and intensity of the drop outs seem to be bigger when I am using my Assioma power pedals. But it also happens on another bike with a power meter spidr. The frequency also seems to go up significantly when I am doing a structured workout. While at first I thought this was just me noticing it better because of looking at the power output, I can also see a difference when viewing the data: during some rides there is just one dropout and reconnect during the entire ride, whereas in other rides it happens every minute for longer periods. They seem to come in batches.
I have tried multiple resets of the device, including and excluding removal of data, with backup of sensors and with getting rid of all sensors and adding just a couple of them again (that worked perfectly fine before). But it doesn't matter and the problem persists.
I see similar issues here on this forum come and go over the past 5 years for this and other devices, but never a solution.
If someone can shine their light on this, that would be very much welcome!
