Debugging GroupTrack

Any idea how to debug this feature? I would love to see my buddies bit I could only get this working once with my son's edge (530). Never got it to work with othe edge 1000 or 1030+.

Is there a check list to debug? All people I ride with use iphones with latest iOS and latest Connect app.

I have implemented all requirements from the FAQ and got it to work once with my spouse. However, it died not work last Sunday riding with my spouse and a friend, both of there devices I had checked. This is tiresome as I do not want to spend my time during a ride debugging gadgets.

It would be great if there would be a test function implemented to select under group track that checks the link and tells the user if his devices (both phone and garmin) are properly configured.
