My old Edge 800 had a particular noisy alarm when I was abandoning the route; the 103plus shows in the bottom the alert, but in speedy downhills, if you miss a crossroad or a fork, you realize too late and often I have to pedal back uphill...
is there a possibility of a sound if you get it wrong with the route?

SandroRiz Glad that helped! as for the voice, it sounds like you have audio prompts enabled for navigation alerts. You can disable this by going to the app > Garmin Devices > 1030 Plus > activity options…
Do you hear other tones in general coming from the Edge? Like when you start or stop a ride? Make sure tones are enabled in the system menu of the Edge
