edge 1030 plus contour lines

I downloaded seperate files and some seem to be working. 

But also some aren't working (like the Italian, and of course the Europe).

There seem the be something different on the Edge 1000 because the files are definitly working there.

The 1030+ already has contour lines.

It displays 30 meter  / 100 foot lines. The metric lines are weird: they show up at things like 122, 152, 182 because the lines are actually 100 feet.

Settings -> Profiles -> Road (whatever) -> Navigation -> Map -> Draw Contours (at the bottom).

I guess you want a different period.

Unfortunately the EU maps Garmin provide doenst have contour lines.

And the the option draw contour I found already, that option is also needed to make the seperate SRTM files visible on the maps.

That isn't my solution. 

These work. I just tried it for the US (the 1030+ is happy displaying both sets of contour lines).

It has 30 meter lines aligned at 30 (not the weird 2 foot offset the Garmin contour lines have).

(Not sure why it seems they don't say what the period is.)

I tried two maps, Italy works (thanks!).
But Spain doenst seem to be working.
Does it work with youre edge?

(is the a maximum number of img files the edge can handle?)

Yes is does fix it!

I will check all the countries from that site.

So it seems like there is a maximum number of files the Garmin will read. 

And the files from http://osm.thkukuk.de/ can be a problem on the edge 1030plus. 

I think there's a limit to the number of tiles. Tiles are map subregions and the device needs to keep track of them.

I don't need them all the same time, so for now I an helped. 

Hope I will find a Europe version that will work properly!
