live track failed

Live track has worked perfectly for me with my previous Edge530 and my 1030plus until 2 rides ago. Now my contacts do not get the notification and i received an on screen message saying "Live track failed error ......" number that I didn't catch. Any recent fixes anybody ??

Hi Neil

I followed advice from here , deleted the Garmin Connect app and reinstalled on my phone. Did a test activity and my GF got the livetrack notification. So far that worked ok. Hope this helps

I had that too on my last ride (two days ago), and never had it before either. Could just be a coincidence of course, but maybe Garmin have broken something on their side and will hopefully fix it soon. FWIW, I think it said Error 44 on mine.
