Elevation profile

I just bought an Edge 1030 plus and on the elevation profile for a ride, it is too slow to show the UPCOMING hills. Half the time, I have one dot on the middle of the screen and the other dot on the far right side. It does nothing for me to see where I just traveled. I always want to see the Upcoming elevation profile. In addition, why can't I zoom out to see more of the elevation profile. Also, I did a gravel/paved road ride and it is set to show all climbs. I have 4 gravel hills with 10-14 % grade climbs and one paved ride with 9% grade climb. Climb Pro does not show any of the 4 gravel hills, only the road climb. Why ? Thanks !

Climb pro has a screen that shows the climbs on the route. Do you have that screen?

Yes, I have it as an active screen. It pops up for the paved road but not the gravel hills which are equal or greater climb than the paved. Why can't I get the gravel hills to show up ?

The screen I am referring to does not pop up. It is a list of climbs that meet the criteria for Climb pro. I think the list is called upcoming climbs. Are the gravel roads displayed on the map? If they are then I don’t have any answers. Hopefully someone with more experience with climb pro has a answer.

Here is my elevation profile. Only one of these hills (paved) shows up on Climb pro. All of the other hills are gravel and none show up.

Yes, the list of climbs only has the paved road only. No other hills show up

There are a lot of questions regarding Climbpro and as you observe the manual is typically inadequate.

There are similar posts in the 530 & 830 forums as the feature is the same among the Edge x30 devices

The document explains why some climbs don't show, related to both average grade and length, sometimes the shape of the climb, ie a long climb but with a short level or down section so that climbpro defines it as two seperate shorter climbs that don't individually fit its defination as a climb worthy of showing to you
