Bought a unit at Trek Beijing Today. || China Maps Question ||

Hello! I bought a 1030 Plus at a local Trek shop today and am really excited about how this device can help me navigate the city and become a better cyclist. I bought some of the Rally RS200 power pedals, a HRM etc... the whole kit. Beijing is a perfectly flat city and is littered with routes I can follow on Strava. It is a great place to own a bike!

My issue is that the map only has Chinese characters and I am not sure how to get pinyin. I am sure there are thousands of other foreigners in town, with the same gear but I don't have any bike friends and I don't know what to do. I don't want to refund it and I don't know how other cyclists confront this issue. I brought it to another Trek shop this evening but they told me they are a franchise and don't know how to help.

Is there a workaround? A hack? Anything I can do with the $2000+ worth of gear I bought today?

Thanks in advance,
