Adaptor to mount GoPro under Edge 1030 Plus extended out-front mount

I've bought an Edge 1030 Plus, which comes with the "extended" Garmin out front mount. I want to attach a GoPro to the underside of this mount

Does the Garmin "quarter turn to friction flange mount adaptor" work with the mount that comes with the 1030 Plus?

I think it does, just check that you have the mating half under the mount. I have mounted a light under mine

The "friction flange mount adaptor" arrived this morning and it does indeed fit under the Garmin out front mount.
