Time not correct

Daylight time started Sunday 27th march at 02:00 in The Netherlands. The time is still one hour behind.

Synced with Garmin Connect in my mobile. Synced with Garmin Express with my laptop. Used all 3 different GPS settings, GPS, +Glonass and + Galileo.

Walked 20 minutes around in the neigbourhood with the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus.

The time is still incorrect. How can I fix this ?

You can try replacing the time zone map.

Place this file in the Garmin folder and then get a GPS lock.

This is version 28

Rename the file to

gmaptz.img

Placed the file in the root of the Garmin folder.

Renamed the file.

Tried all 3 different GPS settings, GPS bars are green.

Time does not change to the correct time.

Problem solved.

I switched from profile, the time changed immediately. Switched back to the profile were the time was wrong, time is now also correct.

Mine has been out in the sun outside for an hour now recording a fake activity and still hasn't updated. It has GPS lock. I've tried changing profiles as well and no luck. Does anyone from Garmin ever help with these forum problems? It shouldn't be this difficult to set the time!

What time zone and region are you in? Is the unit paired to a phone?

That sounds like the Time zone map is missing or corrupt.

Connect the unit to a computer. Go to the Garmin folder and delete the following file Garmin\gmaptz.img

Earlier in this thread I posted a replacement file. Download that and copy it to the Garmin folder and rename it to gmaptz.img
