After ride, trying to save ride. 1030 turns on and off 3 to 6 times before I can upload the ride.

1030 turns on and off 3 to 6 times before I can upload the ride. Started doing this about a week or 2 ago and every time. I did not do any updates or anything to the unit before this started. Any ideas to fix?

I don‘t really know if it helps, but what I would try:

Connect your Edge to your PC/Mac
As soon you can adress the device as drive goto Edge/Garmin
From here goto /Newfiles and delete all files - if there are any
goto /Activities and copy all files to your hard disc and then delete all files on Edge/Activities
goto /Courses and copy all files to your hard disc and then delete all files on Edge/Courses
goto /Segments and copy all files to your hard disc and then delete all files on Edge/Segments

Then disconnect (safely), let boot and try again.
