Has anyone got strava live segments to work properly when riding a course or route ? ( I have read all historic posts )

I have done my basic research into this question and even though I have followed all the earlier tips and advice, I still cannot get my strava live segments to work while riding a course created on strava or garmin. Has a anybody dealt with this problem lately ?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Just tried exactly what you suggested and changed my start and finish points on the last route I created. I had deleted it from GC and when I re-saved it and re-starred it, it hasn't reappeared on GC at all

Yes, something is wrong between my Strava and GC. Just created a new route on strava that I rode today, segment explorer showed loads of segments that it crosses but yet when it appeared on GC, there are no embedded segs at all. Strangely, all segments are listed below the route on strava including starred and unstarred ones, yet even if I refresh none appear on GC. I'm stuck with either not using strava live segs or not using routes. That is not why I spent £500 on a new 1030 plus, really disappointed now so I would be very grateful for any assistance you can offer

Same issue here tonight. Created a new course which includes 2 of my starred segments. After sync to GC the map page of the course doesn’t include the segments.

Ah, and has it been working ok till this point ? The course I created last sunday does include starred seg's but none since then even though my settings haven't changed

It has for me, although I don’t know at which point it got broken! Made a Route last Tuesday ( 22nd ) and No Starred Segments went to Garmin Connect.

Tried drawing a route on the strava mobile app today thinking it may behave differently but same result: no segments on the GC course. I'm hoping that the very helpful AWetherall can find something out for us

The problem is somewhere between the Strava export and Garmin import. I have a call open. Hopefully we will hear something back on Monday.

Exactly the same problem as well.
Also followed identical trouble shooting steps... Started working irregularly since january, but sopped working completely 2 or 3 Weeks ago. Very frustrating.

in a way I'm pleased it's not just me having this problem although I know that doesn't help, hopefully Garmin & Strava will pick up on the problem ........?
