Has anyone got strava live segments to work properly when riding a course or route ? ( I have read all historic posts )

I have done my basic research into this question and even though I have followed all the earlier tips and advice, I still cannot get my strava live segments to work while riding a course created on strava or garmin. Has a anybody dealt with this problem lately ? 

Any advice greatly appreciated

    Course 95509909 (Willerby,Welton,Skidby Loop )

    has 4 segments. Strava matches your course to those segments you have marked as favorites (stared) 

    You can add the UUID to end of this URL to check them www.strava.com/.../

    uuid 31213457
    uuid 10980934
    uuid 19763481
    uuid 3975805

    The first one in the list is

    Under the Bridge to Raywell

    Course 96035217 has no segments

    Course 96344715 has no segments

    GPX files do not support embedded segments so 95511745 has none

    That is so good of you to check for me, thank you verymuch !  I am still baffled as to why this is the case though. All 3 courses were created on strava in the same way and should have crossed starred segments. They  even list segments below on Strava and include the starred ones. I cannot understand what is different in the case of the later courses. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong ?

    Do the latter courses show segment start/end point in Garmin Connect when you view the course on the map page?

    If they do then the problem is in getting the files from GC to the Edge.

    If they do not then the problem is in the upload of the course from Strava to GC.

    No, they do not show segments in GC on the map page. They don't show on the strava route map either, should they do so ? It lists segments underneath but not on the map

    In Strava it will list the segments below the map. Only the those that are stared will get included.

    Are the segments that are not coming across private? 

    Strava example. Just the one stared segment is included with this course

    My route looks exactly like that with the list of segments showing the starred ones beneath. No segments are coming across at all now even the ones created by me. Truly baffled. Is it worth disconnecting strava from GC and starting again do you think ?

    What I would suggest is unstaring those courses in Strava.

    Then deleting them in Garmin Connect

    Then re-staring them in Strava. If you want you could move the course start/end point a fraction so that the course gets regenerated.

    This should force them to be sent over again. By deleting them from GC you know you have the latest file when it shows up in GC.

    Then check these newly loaded course to see if they have segments.

    If they don't then there maybe some service down between Garmin and Strava, which they would need to look at.

    It looks like something is up with server(s).

    I just tried a new course and got no segments transferred.
