Hey,
It's possible to connect garmin Tempe to edge 1030 plus?
Seems to work… with an IQ datafield.
(I don‘t have it tested…)

Tempe Visualizer is the way to go. I've had zero problems with it. It just works.
I've placed mine under my saddle. I use this saddle bag

and attach the tempe to the strap of the bag so that it is placed between the saddle and the bag (over the top of the saddle rails)
I am using the Temp Visualizer IQ app, i cannot get the CRRT one working. It works fine, does not update very frequently tho.
I did also hook the Tempe up to my Enduro watch which has native ability to connect Tempe and the reading seem to update every few seconds.
It would sure be nice if they could do the same with the 1030+ Edge . where is the garmin suggestion box ?
where is the garmin suggestion box ?
Keeping this thread alive... I just used the suggestion box to ask for compatibility between the Edge units and the tempe sensor, maybe Garmin will eventually listen to us. I've used the tempe for years with my trusty old Dakota 20, and the temperatures it recorded were always reasonable. On a recent ride with my 1030 plus, the actual high was 84 degrees (I looked it up), the Edge consistantly read in the 90's, with a high of 127 degrees! I guess I'll try one of the two IQ apps mentioned in this thread. FYI, I mount my tempe under the saddle with a zip tie.
Still no native support for the Tempe?! (even my Vivoactive 4 does....)
The temperaturesensor in the edge 1030+ is useless when cycling in sunlight because the device heats up.
Both IQ-datafields are useless, they show 1 temperature in the beginning of a ride and then don't change anymore.
