Screen darkens periodically on a ride.

My Garmin's all of a sudden darkened periodically while on a ride this afternoon. It would last for 30 seconds or so before going back to the normal lighted screen. Any ideas?

Setup - Battery Save Mode = On (by accident)

Thanks for the suggestion. I just checked and battery save was not enabled. The screen doesn’t go completely black, just darkens for a brief time.

Then play aroung with Display Settings:
System - Display

I think it's a glitch. It is the backlight that will turn off for about 10-15 seconds. First time it's ever happened .

Didn't happen during yesterday's ride. Mustof been some kind of glitch. Who knows? Thanks MCINNER1 for your suggestions.
