Workout not showing in calendar

Hi,

I've got a traningplan created in TrainingPeaks. The plan is synchronizing to Garmin Connect and every workout appears in the calendar in the Garmin Connect App.

I also want to have the workout on my Edge 1030 plus. When synchronizing with Connect the workouts get on my device and can be selected in the "Training" section. But the workout do not appear in the calendar on the device. The calendar stays empty, so I always have to find the correct training in the "Trainings"-section for the current day.

Anything I can do to get the calendar correct?

I've also tried the simple trick to rename one workout to resync the calendar ... did not work.

  • This is one of the most frustrating part of using 1030+ for me. There is no explanation why this happens. Out of all the trial and error methods that i tried, this worked most(not 100% fool proof though).

    shut down  the iphone garmin connect app. By shut down, i mean, force close it or turn off bluetooth.

    go to TrainingPeaks, update the name of one of the days on your calendar. Add a character, or something.

    Go to 1030+, connected features, wifi and sync it. or connect to computer.

    This worked most of the times but i have few situations that it didnt. I subscribed to the TP calander on my phone and i noticed that the start and end times on the calander is in a different timezone. I think this has some role to play on how TP stores the timezone and how garmin reads it. 

    if your TP calander says all day, the sync should happen without issues but in some cases, it doesnt. it has specific time set to it
