Street Map Missing after a map update

Today I noticed that there was a new Singapore OSM map on Garmin Express so I downloaded it.

Not sure what happened but I seem to have lost my street map and just have a rough outline of Singapore with a few roads.

Have checked that the maps are selected and can only see a Singapore DEM map which I think is different from streetmap I have previously.

Maybe the map I downloaded via Garmin Express is bad or something went wrong.

I have screen shots but cant figure out how to post them.

Any suggestions/advice?

Hi.. was this ever fixed? Same thing has happened to me. How’d you fix it?

This happened to me recently. The street map had somehow been turned off by the update. Make sure the appropriate maps are enabled in that activity profile.

Its not fixed. A ticket is open with Garmin. The service center gave me another map however that got messed up on a recent update.

The switching off isnt the cause of it. The local service center has replicated it other other devices. The issue only seems to happen with the packaged OSM Garmin maps.

Followed on my issue today with the Singapore support team. They have had a ticket open with Garmin since March and today they said that the issue is also occurring in the new 1040 (hence I’m updated here) and that Garmin couldn’t replicate it so they have sent them an APAC unit with the issue to look it.

The really weird thing is that if you install basecamp on your PC you can see the maps so something isn’t right with the format and/or the device s/w.

I was provided with another map which works well and I downloaded 3^rd party maps maps for now. Note this only seems to affect the OSM AP maps from what we can tell during the testing we did on random maps.

Yes.. Same with me, and as happened with my Edge 1030 plus after update map..

It will fix if re install manual image map your region..

What is this product for? I have a Mac and not windows.

It says

WARNING: This software will not work unless you already own a MapSource product.

What is a Mapsource product.
Are you able to provide the steps required?
