Light indicating a blue tooth connection does not come on but indicates if I set up a power sensor option instead.
Have removed all sensors and reloaded the IQ but still not working.

I have 2 apps on my phone - one labelled FAZUA and the other labelled Rider.
When I coonect via the Fazua app I see the following information-
Firmware 2.1
Motor System Firmware 2.12
Bluetooth 2.4
HI, Just thought. I checked my current settings and they are 2.11
I remember upgrading firmware on battery and remote to 2.12. This is the firmware that does the multi colour on boot up. I remember having connection issues so downgraded back to 2.11. (use the 2.11 version of toolkit software and firmware bin file)
It reverts to 2.11 easily and I have had no issues since. Hope this helps.
Will try to upgrade mine to 2.12 next week to see if connection issues come back.
With 5.20 the dashboard worked but all the sensors kept reconnecting.
However after upgrading to 6.10 all the sensors are now stable but dashboard does not connect.
The Fazua app on my phone still connects to the motor via bluetooth without any problems so I suspect that something in the Garmin upgrade has broken it.
Interestingly I can still set up a power sensor on my Garmin and that also works OK but does not seem capable of showing the battery level.
Hi,
When I upgraded Fazua to 2.12 and Garmin Beta 5.63 It would not connect properly. Bluetooth was erratic in connecting. And so I reverted back to 2.11 and had no problems from then on. Then I upgraded to Garmin beta 6.0 and then Beta 6.10 and it always connects via Bluetooth.
The only time it disappears is when the radar (510) drops. This knocks the Fazua Bluetooth out for 10 seconds while the radar connects. This radar disconnect issue is a common fault since I had a 1030+ and is well documented here.
I have downloaded the Fazua IQ tool and installed it but do not actually use it. I am happy with my Garmin dashboard - I use the Fazua Power Sensor. Its my understanding the Fazua IQ install will show battery but you cant use the power sensor, only the cadence etc. I could be wrong.
AS mentioned above, when I upgraded to 2.12 and switched it on it did a song and dance with the lights before it tried to connect to Garmin. My guess it timed out with Garmin and so I reverted to 2.11.
When I update to 2.12 I will post
Hello John,
Thank you for your inquire and your interest in our FAZUA Drive System.
Unfortunately, this is an issue caused by the newest firmware update from Garmin. This issue is reported and we are working on a solution. I would like to give you an exact time but we currently can only say we expect to have a solution within the next weeks. Please excuse the inconvenience.
I hope you have a nice week and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Hi John,
Assume that is a a customer support reply from Fazua.
In which case I will not update to 2.12 as 2.11 is working fine.
Hello John,
After the latest Garmin firmware update for all Edge devices, a simple hard-reset of the FAZUA Dashboard is required to get it working properly again:
1. please remove the dashboard from all Activity Profiles of your Garmin
2. restart your Garmin (long press on the lock button on the side)
3. start and stop a short activity and check that the dashboard is not displayed
4. then add the dashboard again as a Data Screen, as usual
5. now the FAZUA Dashboard works again
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Lucas - FAZUA Service
