Confused about maps delivered on Edge 1030 plus

What maps are on the device?

That program is no longer supported and will not work on a Mac above Catalina.

The program works fine on Windows. Mac's are a bit complicated (especially, now).

Are you even using the Africa maps?

Note that the map has to be installed before it can be enabled or disabled.

Some of the maps aren't used for display anyway (DEM and Geocode, for example).

Manage Maps in Garmin Express has checks next to maps that are installed.

Garmin Express doesn't show you the separate DEM and Geocode maps (but they do show up on the Edge).

Maybe, the African maps aren't from Garmin Express.

There are two map lists:

1. The maps managed (shown) in Garmin Express.
2. The maps installed on the device.

There can be maps listed in Garmin Express that are not on the device.

There can be maps on the device that Garmin Express knows nothing about.

Is it expected that the only maps I can choose are Europe and North America?

It seems I can no longer select any other maps like for example Australia/NZ
