Notes:

  • For any issues that you encounter please fill out the form included in the download and attach it to an email to [email protected]. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.
  • Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 5.63 to 6.00:

  • Fixed Back to Start issue when selecting Most Direct Route
  • Fixed issue where LiveTrack could not be started
  • Added a routing avoidance setting for interstate highways that allow bicycles. Previously, a user could not create a cycling route on interstates, even if the interstate allowed cycling.

Changes made from version 5.20 to 5.63:

  • Fixed device-to-device transfers
  • Added new tone for radar that that plays when your radar transitions to the green threat level. Go to the radar settings in the sensors menu to enable this feature.
  • Improved bike light network connection stability
  • Improved course point display and added new types
  • Improved Course 'Always Show' functionality
  • Improved shifting sensor battery data fields
  • Improved Physio True-up data recording
  • Improved indoor trainer control
  • Fixed issue causing unnecessary sensor software update prompts
  • Fixed power calibration prompt when waking from sleep mode
  • Fixed history line color
  • Fixed issue with left/right power balance recording
  • Fixed issue with GPS not turning off in indoor mode
  • Fixed the power graph during workout steps with no power target
  • Improved general device stability
  • And what about that stupid pop up with training suggestion that come either it's on or off ? Second beta now without doing something.

  • I have had no issues with FW 6.00: Sensors, Light network, Tracking, etc all OK
Only Navigation reported an issue when I starts the ride. I receive a message that there was a 'Calculation error'. After clicking the message away everything is OK.
I start my navigation at the back of my house (= not a public road) and maybe that triggers the 'calculation error' because other devices (my car) display: 'go to the nearest road'.

  • Have used the beta 5.63 and 6.0.  Only issue is the "Radar disconnected" issue that I and others have had for the last 18 months.

FYI the radar advises disconnected but restarts in 10 seconds.  Message disappears.  At the same time Bluetooth connection to power meter disappears and reconnects same time radar restarts; which leads me to believe core issue is Bluetooth polling.  However it is fair to say the number of disconnects (usually 2) is far less than a year ago.

  • The old problems remain in version 6.00.
1.It tells me that the power meter's battery is low.
2.If I turn on the radar after the computer, it does not turn it on automatically. I need to turn on the radar in front of the computer so that it can detect it and work properly.
3.After finishing the walk, he wrote that I had an unfinished workout.
I believe that the programmers at Garmin are working to fix these problems.
