Can't sync between Garmin Connect (Android Phone) and Garmin Edge 1030 Plus

Question

If i import data from Strava into Garmin Connect it wont sync over to the Edge 1030 Plus - is there anyway to fix this - have tried troubleshooting guides for syncing problems but no luck so far.

I'm sorry for the confusion. As mentioned, it's not supposed to show up on the Edge, only Garmin Connect.. That is your centralized storage area for all of your activities.

 The normal workflow is as follows: 
 
 Complete your ride then save it 
 If setup correctly, your activity should then sync to Garmin Connect over Bluetooth to your phone app or via computer using Garmin Express 
 If setup correctly, the activity should then sync to strava 
 Periodically remove the activities from the device using these instructions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
