Weather Notifications 1030 Plus

So, I have set up my new Device, and paired with this my iPhone, and receive calls and texts, messages on my Device but NOT the weather. The weather screen says that a phone has to be

connected, but it already is (evidenced by the icon as well as my ability to get calls and texts on my Device).

Any solutions most appreciated.

Same here. Seems to be a new bug.
Solution (work around): on your Edge disable the phone and re-enable it.

Hey... thanks for responding.

i have tried that multiple times, but it did not fix the problem. I did see the weather pop up once, but not since, despite multiple attempts at pairing and un-pairing, disabling the phone and then re-enabling it... not working.

other thoughts...

I think the weather app on the phone has to have location services "continually on" instead of just on when you use the app.

Yep, I’ve done that ,too. It is continually on.

has this been reported as a bug to Garmin, I wonder?

Even if it has been reported, it would be worth you reporting it too so they know it's affecting multiple users and give Garmin support opportunity to gather information from your setup

Frustrating, isn't it, but glad there are others and it will be reported from each of us, to get something happening thru Garmin.
