On a ride last week, having had no problems previously and with the battery at 68%, the screen on my 1030+ turned off shortly after I started an activity. I pressed the power button to turn it back on, but then within 10 seconds or so I got a message at the bottom of the screen "Power Save in 3...2...1" and off again! This kept repeating and I finally gave up and left it off for a while since it was recording the current activity OK with the screen off. I then tried starting a new activity, played with activity settings, etc. but it kept doing it. It's not supposed to time out like that if you're actively recording a ride.
Finally, while stopped at a trailhead I poked around in the System settings, found the Battery Saver option, and disabled it. Problem solved! I haven't reenabled the option to see if it will start timing out again, but am wondering what would cause it to do this after multiple successful rides since the most recent firmware update.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
