RWGPS not syncing pinned routes

SO I noticed today that my garmin 1030+ didn't download a RWGPS route that I created and pinned. I had already started my ride, and wanted to select the route for the ride but it wasn't there...

I tried initiating a sync from the garmin connect app, but the route never showed up.

Is there a specific process for doing this when you are out on a ride?

GRouteLoader is available for the 1030+.

Reauthorize the account, that has worked for me when routes fail to load
