New courses automatically sending to devices

I've noticed recently that when i create a new course it is automatically sent to all of my edge devices, i usually only have a handful of courses loaded at any one time but recently when i went to load a route there were dozens, how do i disable this very unhelpful feature?

    I recently started using Komoot and linked this to Garmin Connect. The result is that all routes created in Komoot are send to Connect but are also downloaded automatically to all my Edge devices.

    I understood for routes created in Komoot this auto-download cannot be disabled. I would have liked this feature more if I could manage which routes to download. Now all routes also end up on my Edge 130 and there I don't need the routes at all.

    I use RideWithGPS and have it linked to Garmin Connect. Only routes that I pin are sent to my 1030+. Works great if I want a route loaded I pin it on my computer or phone. The next time my Garmin syncs it is loaded. But unpinned routes are not loaded.
