Transfer of settings from Edge 1000

I enjoy getting new gadgets -- phones, Garmin devices, etc. -- but the biggest PITA has gotten to be duplicating all the initial setup stuff from the old device. I'm aware of the feature for automatically transferring data to a new device, such as from my existing Edge 1000 to the 1300+ I'm planning on getting soon, but how complete is this transfer? I'm assuming that the activity settings, screen layouts, etc. will transfer, but how about the following:

Paired sensors
IQConnect apps
Varia pairing

Anything else I need to know about transferring settings to a new device? Thanks.

Sensors will go across.

Not the apps.

You will also need to re-do the light pairings as the lights store the identity of the Edge on them and the identity of your Edge will be different.
