I recently bought an Edge 1030 plus because i have been happy in the last years with my Fenix 3, 5 plus and way prior to this, Edge 500.
As the Edge 1030 plus is the top of the range model from Garmin, how is it possible that a competitors device which only costs 1/3 of the price allows perfect route synchronisation during an acitivity, while the Edge 1030 plus doesn't? In my eyes, this is a key feature and the 1030 plus lacks this. Why do i have to stop my runing activity just to upload a modified route to my device for the rest of my ride? This is actually pretty annoying.
I know about workaroungs like grouteloader etc. but....seriously? This cannot be the solution on a 600$ device.
When will Garmin finally add this functionality?
