Red frame around map with little flag

Today, while I'm following a route on my 1030plus a red frame with a checked flag (in the middle of right side) is appeared.

At lower left bottom there was an X (I guess to terminate the route)

Clicking on the flag it ask me to save (terminate) the recording... Indeed at home I discovered the recording was interrupted when the frame appeared.

Have I accidentally pressed the stop button? (could be... a lot of fallen tree to climb over!!)

WHY on the manual there aren't all these type of icons/operations? Is there a more detailed guide? I think navigation is really bad... I always don't know how to return home (swipe bottom?, top? ) eg to change route...

Thanks

Sandro

(Usually you only see a screen with a red border and red chequered flag on the right side when press the Start/Stop button, then when the Save/Discard screen is showing, touch the Back arrow at bottom left of the screen.)

  • It just happened to me today, didn't know what it meant.  Distance stopped recording but the speedometer and other sensors were still working for the rest of the ride.  It sucks because I was recording my distance for a virtual race.  I still don't know what caused that to happen.

  • As  stated before: the red framed screen with flag appears after Start/Stop button was pressed.
It means: the activity is paused and can now be
    -continued by pressing Start/Stop again
    -saved and ended
-paused. Press „return“ arrow bottom left and if you want continue: press Start/Stop again.

This screen has nothing to do with Autopause.
